We are Fundraising to Add 600 Donors to the Marrow Registry
Thank you to all who have generously contributed today to our #GivingTuesday campaign! We have surpassed our goal of adding 400 donors to the registry and are continuing to raise funds in order to add 200 more.
Thousands of children and adults suffering from leukemia, lymphoma and other blood cancers, who require a bone marrow or blood stem cell transplant in order to survive, need your help to find a donor.
In order to make this possible, we continuously strive to grow the bone marrow registry. A simple cheek swab is the first step. The next step is sending the swab kit to the lab for tissue-type processing. That fee is $60, and unfortunately, neither the government nor insurance covers our cost of testing kits.
